December 06, 2007 Networking Reception (Ha Noi, Vietnam)

On December 06, 2007, UVCC Vice Chairman Hien Cung hosted a networking reception to meet with a group of Vietnamese company executives in Ha Noi at the American Club. The group was greeted by the Hon. Michael Michalak, the US Ambassador to Vietnam.

December 1, 2007: UVCC joined the Vietnamese American Entrepreneur Association, the Vietnamese Strategic Ventures Network (VSVN) and the Vietnamese Business Association (VBA) in co-hosting a reception in the San Francisco Bay area to Bid farewell to Consul General of Vietnam in San Francisco Dr. Tuan-Anh Tran and also to raise funds to support flood victims in Central Vietnam.

November 27, 2007: A 12-member delegation from Vietnam arrived in New York to start a 10-day trip in the US under a cultural exchange program organized by the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in HCM City. The delegation also plans to meet with members of the US Vietnam Chamber of Commerce in various cities to explore business cooperation especially with the Vietnamese American companies.
